What you actually get.
The Foam Cannon Hand Wash is the cleanest version of a routine wash. The aim is to lift dirt without dragging it across the paint, so we never put a sponge straight onto a dirty panel. Snow foam softens contaminants first, the contact wash uses two separate buckets (one for the mitt, one for the dirty rinse), and we dry by towel rather than air blower to avoid the swirl marks high-pressure dryers can leave.
The step-by-step
Low-pressure rinse to lift loose grit, with extra time on the lower panels and wheel wells.
pH-neutral foam applied via lance, left to dwell 4–6 minutes to break the bond between dust, road film and the paint.
Wheels are the dirtiest surface on the car. We clean them before touching paint so brake dust doesn’t migrate.
Top-down, panel-by-panel, with a soft mitt rinsed between every pass. Grit guards in both buckets.
Spotless rinse, then plush microfiber drying towels — not chamois, not air blowers — one panel at a time.
Tyre dressing, dressed black trim, glass cleaned inside and out, door shuts wiped.
What we won’t do
- Spray chemical wax on a wet car to skip the drying step
- Use a single bucket and a dirty sponge
- Touch the paint with stiff brushes or wash brooms
- Charge you extra at the till if the car was a normal level of dirty
Good to know
If the car has visible swirls, hard water spots or oxidation, no wash will fix that — you’ll want our Paint Correction & Polishing service instead. If you want the clean to last longer, we usually suggest adding a six-month sealant from our Studio package.
